Level test

A short English test that suggests a starting point for lessons. It is not a certificate.

Not a pile of random materials - a clear course

The coursebook keeps the route. Conversation, audio, video and extra tasks help you use the language in life.

Talk about your request (opens in a new tab)
  1. 01

    Find the starting point

We talk about your experience, your goals, and where you need the language now.

  2. 02

    Choose one programme

We follow a coherent course instead of assembling each lesson from stray links.

  3. 03

    Practise regularly

Lessons leave a lot of room to speak, then we work on what still does not come easily.

  4. 04

    Adjust the pace

We slow down on the hard parts, move faster on the familiar ones, and keep the course logic.

A proven base, a living lesson

We draw on complete programmes for English, Spanish and Italian - from a general course to C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency preparation.

These are example series to discuss with a teacher. The specific book, level and format are confirmed after we meet. Titles and covers belong to their publishers. Links go to the official programme pages.

In preparation

Read, discuss, find your own words

Marina is preparing the first club format: an accessible story or chapter, questions and language support, then a discussion of characters and your own views.

  • We meet online via a link
  • Every participant speaks, not only the teacher
  • A short round of feedback at the end

Language, level, price and the date of the first meeting are still to be confirmed.

See the starting point

The English test suggests a starting point for lessons. It is a first orientation, not an exam.

We do not promise accuracy, a CEFR certificate, or a precise diagnosis. You can still agree the starting point in the first conversation with the teacher.

Starting is 3 simple steps

  1. 01

    Write to us

One message is enough to start the conversation.

  2. 02

    Tell us the goal

What you have already tried, which language you need, and why.

  3. 03

    Agree the format

We match a teacher, a programme, and a time that works.

What to know before the first message

How do we choose a starting level?

We begin with a conversation about your experience and goals. You can also take the English level test without sign-up - it suggests a starting point, not a certificate. The teacher will still confirm the route with you.

How is the coursebook chosen?

The teacher picks a proven course for the language, level and goal. We agree on the specific programme before lessons start - there is no one method promised to everyone.

Will materials be print or digital?

Whichever suits you: the coursebook can be print or digital. Audio, video and extra tasks support the main programme; they do not replace it with a random set of links.

Where do lessons take place?

Online, via a link. We choose the service together so joining from your device stays simple.

How do I prepare for the book club?

Before a meeting, participants receive an accessible story or chapter, questions and language support. Language, level, reading load and the date of the first meeting are still being confirmed.

What about prices and schedule?

The lesson price is listed on each teacher’s page; languages without a price are on request. We agree on available time in the conversation.

Shall we start with a conversation?

Write about the language, the goal and your experience. We will work out the rest together.
